I'm using a retail version of Lightroom 6, if that means anything. Something tells me I may be missing more folders, but if I get a solution here then I will apply that solution to whatever I discover has gone missing. I had asked in the Lightroom Subreddit and someone suggested "right click>show parent>sync folder", buuuut I don't think that's a viable solution? Right clicking sure doesn't give me a "Show Parent" option.ĪNY help is appreciated. Just for the heck of it, I went to Import and sure enough, I can see those missing Folders in Import but naturally, all the photos are greyed out because indeed I HAVE already imported them in the past.Īny help in how I can make those missing folders reappear again in my Library so I can eventually edit and re-export what I want to edit?

One of those missing folders is what I was trying to access recently so I could edit a shot, which is how I discovered this problem in the firstplace. Except for some reason, only 3 of those 7 Folders appear in the Library. Keep in mind that at different times, each of those seven "Mount Rubidoux." Folders was imported, edited and some shots were exported from Lightroom. Now here is a screenshot of what Library looks like. All 7 of these different bunch of photos were imported and edited in LR. In this case, I'm focusing on folders called "Mount Rubidoux" blah blah blah (it's a local hiking area). Here is a screenshot of Photo Folders I have on my external Drive. Here are some screenshots to show what I mean. This is NOT like when LR can't locate the location of a photo even though the Folder is there (I don't think it is anyway). Essentially, Photo Folders that I have previously imported and edited in LR are, for some reason, no longer appearing in my Library even though the location has always been the same. I'm not sure how long I've had this problem, but I recently discovered it because I needed to edit some photos I took last year. I searched for an answer to my situation before posting this but I didn't seem to find much of anything except a couple of unanswered questions.
